Textile Asia 2011: International Textile machinery Show

8th Textile Asia Int’l Garment and Machinery Exhibition 2011 concluded successfully at Karachi Expo Centre, PAKISTAN

More than 357 brands from 39 countries were displayed 




Karachi, April 18, 2011: The Int’l Textile & Garment Machinery Show ended today at Karachi Expo Center. The 3-day Mega Event was organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan.



The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Federal Advisor on Textile, Ministry of Textile Industry; Tariq Iqbal Puri, CE TDAP; Vice Presidents FPCCI; Ambassador of Tajikistan; Ishtiaq Baig, Hon. Consul General Morocco; Fisun Aktug, Commercial Attaché Turkey; Irshad Kassim, Honorary Consul of Tajikistan; Dr. Khursheed Nizam, President; Sohail Aziz, Executive Director, Mujib Siddiqui, GM Marketing & Sales of Ecommerce Gateway were also present at the inauguration and ribbon cutting ceremony. 



The prominent diplomats and other dignitaries who visited the exhibition include: Sergey Plyushchov, Trade Commission of Russia in Karachi; Mr. Didier Boschung, Consul General of Switzerland; M. Shafiq ur Rehman, US Department of Agriculture- Foreign Agriculture Service; Zulfiqar Ali Chaudhary, Chairman- All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association; RADM (R) Bakhtiar Mohsin HI (M) TBt.



The Event provided an effective podium for joint ventures & collaborations among the local textile industry and international entrepreneurs where 122 Exhibitors from 39 countries displayed more than 357 brands. Presence of 255 foreign delegates marked for the event. Set up of 385 stalls at the Event covered a gross area of 7000 sqm. The event has been able to attract around 47,300 Trade/ Corporate visitors.



The degree of Textile Asia’s success is evident from the fact that business of 31 million US dollars is negotiated this year. Clothing, Fabrics & Textile Asia 2012 also launched and will be held from 7-9 April 2012 at Karachi Expo Centre



The exhibiting countries include: China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, India, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, USA etc.

5th Food, Agri & Livestock Asia 2011 Int’l Exhibition & Conference started today at Karachi Expo Centre.

Karachi, April 26, 2011: CE TDAP, Tariq Iqbal Puri Inaugurated 5th Food, Agri & Livestock Asia 2011, Int’l Exhibition & Conference  today at Karachi Expo Centre. Mr. Francis Widmer, the French Commercial Counsellor in Karachi, Rossalis R. Adenan, Indonesian Consul General; Mr. Bertrand Quevremont ,ADEPTA, M. Alain Re’ocreux, Dr. Khursheed Nizam, President Ecommerce Gateway were also present at the inauguration ceremony. The 3-day Event was organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan the only UFI (Paris) Approved Event Organizer of Pakistan.

Food, Agri & Livestock Asia is a unique show in South Asia, which proudly represents a theme of “Pakistan - The Halal Kitchen of the World”. The Event provides an exclusive opportunity to see what the entire South Asian industry has offered and to check out the latest products & innovations in the regional market.

The Event also incorporated 5th International Conference on Food, Agriculture & Livestock with the theme “Framing the Issues, Challenges & Opportunities”. Prof. Dr. Shahana Urooj Kazmi, Pro – Vice Chancellor, University of Karachi acted as the Chief Guest of the conference.

There are 200 stalls in the Exhibition where more than 160 international & domestic exhibitors were showcasing their products and services. A number of foreign participants are also gracing the Event from more than 20 countries including China, France, Germany, Ireland, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Malaysia, Turkey, Iraq, etc.

Salient Features of the Event are “French Pavilion” being established by ADEPTA France, Association for the Development of International Exchanges in Agricultural and Agrifood Products & Techniques. A number of French companies are participating under this pavilion.

Since the theme of the Event is Pakistan- The Halal Kichen of the World, it is open for families from 3-8 PM daily. While, 10-3 PM will remain exclusive for Trade/ Corporate Visitors.  More than 40,000 visitors were expected to visit the Event during the 3 days.

Food, Agri & Livestock Asia has become an annual meeting place for representatives of relevant businesses, experts and analysts around the region. The key goal of the exhibition is to highlight development trends and prospects and provide a platform for dialogue between experts engaged in international food, agriculture and livestock analysis, specialists in various fields of the industry, and representatives of ministries and related departments.

ITIF Asia 2011: International Trade & Industry Fair



8th ITIF Asia 2011 Int’l Exhibition & Conference successfully concluded at Karachi Expo Centre 

8th ITIF Asia 2011 Int’l Exhibition & Conference successfully concluded at Karachi Expo Centre.  The Event was inaugurated by Sindh Minister for Environment and Alternative Energy Sheikh Muhammad Afzal; CEO AEDB, Arif Alauddin; Dr. Graeme Towers, Group CEO Wellbeinggreen, Australia and President Ecommerce Gateway, Dr. Khursheed Nizam were also present at the occasion.

                        

The Event further incorporated 5th Power & Alternative Energy Asia, 7th Auto & Transport Asia, 8th Engineering Asia and 7th Oil & Gas Asia.



There were more than 210 stalls in the Exhibition where 86 international & domestic exhibitors showcased their products and services. Over 51 foreign delegates also graced the event from 13 countries including Australia, Turkey, Canada, Germany, India, UAE, UK, etc. Presence of more than 36,756 trade/corporate visitors were noted during the Event.



The Event was organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. with the support of Alternative Energy Development Board; Federal Ministries of Water & Power; Petroleum & Natural Resources; Ministry of Environment & Alternative Energy, Government of Sindh and Engineering Development Board.

The 9th ITIF Asia will be held from 3-5 April 2012.
